"How did the site come about?" --
For just about 3 or 4 years now, I had been scouring the Net for info on George to add to my site for JIFR. Of course, anyone that's ever done a search on George knows there is precious little to be found. No more than just a few simple referrals to George's work with Frumious Bandersnatch and Journey and one mention of his and Ross's connection to an obscure band named Faun. I did manage to come across a site featuring a clip of a track called 'Through With You', that George and Ross had collaborated on and appeared on a compilation with some other musicians' works.

Anyway, about a week after Journey received it's Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, inspired by George's surprise appearance with the rest of the band, I decided I wanted to try to do a website for George. The only thing was, as I said before, there was very little information out there on George and definately not enough to create a website. So I had to try to find a way to get in touch with the man himself and hopefully get enough to do proper honor to George's musical legacy.

Thanks to a wonderful friend who is lucky enough to know George personally, I was able to have forwarded an email with my request to George. To my absolute surprise, I received an email from George asking me to give him a call, so that we could discuss the issue.

After a long discussion of our personal feelings regarding undertaking such a venture, George decided we would assemble a team of talented individuals (Dans La Famille) and together would create an Official website that would be visually stunning, as well as contain all the features and information fans would expect to find in a fan website. I would be Webmaster of the site.
